Fazilite Vinod Jyani got Organic Man of the Year Award

Fazilite Vinod Jyani got Organic Man of the Year Award. Vinod Jyani owns 140 acre organic farm at his native village Kathera, near Abohar- Fazilka. He is successfully doing organic farming from last 6 years. Vinod Jyani's farm is 1st farm tourist destination declared by tourism department of Punjab Government.

He was honored as Organic Man of the Year At village Aajab Dist Rothak Haryana , on the 23 December where World Organic Day was celebrated. The chief guest were film star Dharmendar ,Acharya Balkrishan ji Patanjali Yog Peeth. Dharmendar in his speech spoke about his love for agriculture and advised all farmers to start chemical free farming at least in one acre. Acharya Balkrishan ji said that most of the disease in today's world were to the use of chemical in the food that we grow.He futher said that Pathanjali yogpeth were helping farmers to grow food crops organically and helping them to market their produce. Swami Sampurananandji the main Organiser of the event, talked about that food in itself, was medicine. He than told the audience about the Jyani Natural Farm and their role in going for organic farming in one go in 130 acre and how they process and sell the produce directely to the consumer. Then the organic man of the year award was given to Mr Vinod and Mrs Indu Jyani. The Confrence was attended by about 25 thousand people.
