It will be a very special event for all those who are unaware of India's hidden talent. The motive behind organizing National and International events at Fazilka is to promote and develop the game of Twenty20 Cricket for men and boys from grass-root level in India so as to provide right opportunity to small time players who don't get right opportunities due to the lack of funds & infrastructure and also to place Fazilka City on International Tourism Map

Fazilka T20 Cricket association founded in the year 2005, under the aegis of INDIAN TWENTY20 CRICKET FEDERATION (ITCF INDIA) AFFILIATED TO: INTERNATIONAL TWENTY20 CRICKET FEDERATION (ITCF-USA). Mission of Twenty20 Cricket Tournaments is keeping in mind that in India thousand of all level Cricket players are playing cricket but golden opportunities are less and hidden talents and surplus. India is big Country for playing Cricket. Indian Twenty20 Cricket Federation ITCF INDIA is a big official/legal platform those neglected surplus talented poor cricket players from all over India who cannot avail any opportunity to come forward and serve the country through their cricket talent. ITCF has as many as 1,00,000 players currently under its umbrella."Our city will be painted in new colour of love, joy, unity and harmony when players from 32 cricket states and 2 more counties would be here for 20 days" said Pankaj Dhamija, General Secretary Fazilka Twentry20 Cricket Association (FTCA).

International Teams will be hosted by Two Farm Tourism Resorts mainly 'Jyani Natural Farm' and Katehra Village and 'Mahindra Farm', at Ghallu Village near Fazilka. Recently both these farm houses are being accredited by Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board under Farm Tourism for Diamond Category. Simultaneously this tournament will have mass impact on the economy of Fazilka as more than 1 lack visitor are expected in this tournament."Entire city will act as host for this mega event and during these 20 days, visitors and players will get a feel of all new modern, modest, culturally rich, cool and calm Fazilka", said Dr Rajneesh Kamra, President FTCA and Member executive council of this tournament. This will be greenest festival as each player is suppose to plant one tree in the periphery of M.R College Stadium. So, one can say No auctions, no stars, but parallel T20 cricket will make an impact.

"Reason for selecting Fazilka to host this national and international tournament is availability of playgrounds and zeal of organizing council at Fazilka, especially youth, for organizing this mega sports festival in this city with specialties like Ecocabs, India's first Car Free city and many souvenir of Punjabi culture like Juttis, Tosha and Rural Furniture to take back home. All these make this India's smallest big town truly international", said Piyush Rana Founder and Hon'y Secretary General, ITCF-INDIA. 20 member Afgan Youth Cricket Academy, which will play on behalf of Afghanistan including 14 players and 6 management team members are very excited about it.
