Demand of Fazlika as a separate district from Ferozepur would be fulfilled within two weeks said, Surjit Jyani while taking the charge as Punjab Transport Minister on Monday.

Grievances and issues related to public transport system will be sorted out in the priority basis. Time to time we will conduct the surprise checking to maintain transparency in the system. If any one found indulged in any unlawful activities strict action will be taken against him. "You will see the change within the three months," said Jaiyani while talking with The Pioneer.
The other cabinet minister Arunesh Shakar said that despite less than a year left in the assembly election, people of the Punjab will the see the change in tourism and wildlife sector. "Let me give a day or two go through the section," added Shakar. Satpal Gossain, health and family welfare minister and Tikshan Sud, local bodies and industry minister are the other BJP ministers who took the charge of their departments while social welfare minister Laxmi Kanta Chawala did not turned up at her office.
